Admissions Specialist

Location: Austin, TX

Schedule: Monday–Friday 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM onsite (with optional remote hours in the afternoon)

Pay: Starting at $60K

We’re searching for a compassionate and organized Admissions Specialist to be the first voice someone hears when they reach out for help—and the steady hand that guides them into care.

This is a role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment and understands the profound impact of emotional support during early recovery. You’ll work directly with clients, families, and clinical partners, providing guidance, clarity, and care.

The Job

Be the front line: Answer incoming calls, live chats, and online inquiries with warmth and professionalism.

Guide with heart: Help clients and families understand what to expect and how to prepare for treatment.

Coordinate care: Handle everything from verifying insurance benefits to scheduling transportation, conducting pre-assessments, and finalizing admissions.

Collaborate across teams: Work closely with our clinical, leadership, and coaching teams to align every piece of the admissions puzzle.

Represent with integrity: Network across Austin and beyond to build lasting referral relationships. Follow up with families and partners with thoughtfulness and professionalism.

What You Bring

A sharp eye for detail and a calm, solution-oriented presence under pressure

Experience with behavioral health admissions or program development preferred

Confidence using CRM systems, Google Workspace, and related software

High emotional intelligence and an ability to meet people where they are

A passion for service and a belief in the mission of trauma-informed, gender-responsive care
